Digital Killed the Video Star

A 'contemporary cinephile's' occasionally academic perspective on film, TV and popular culture

About

I am a first-year PhD student in the department of Culture, Media and Creative Industries at King’s College London. My research centres around media saturation and the evolution of the film and TV industries. I am also interested in the use of art and creativity in health and wellbeing.

This site is home to opinion pieces, film and TV reviews and industry critique influenced partially by academia.

I’m also into photography, sketching, foreign movies, Nordic Noir, as much fiction as I can squeeze into the darkest hours of the day, and a small amount of road cycling.
